4D3N Hanoi & Halong Bay Cruise Hanoi | Halong Bay Cruise

Day 1 : Arrival in Hanoi L/D Upon arrival, begin your vacation in Hanoi with a half-day city tour, where you will visit attractions such as Ba Dinh Square with Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Mondays and Fridays), One Pillar Pagoda and Ho Chi Minh’s House of Stilt. Then, visit Temple of Literature (the 1st National University of Vietnam), Sword Lake and Al-Noor Masjid Mosque Hanoi. After enjoying the Egg coffee, a Hanoi specialty, proceed for shopping at the Old Quarter (36 ancient wards & streets). After dinner at a local restaurant, transfer to the hotel for check in. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2 : Hanoi – Halong Bay B/L/D L/D After breakfast and check out from the hotel, transfer to Halong Bay (3 hours 40 minutes) where you will board your cruise ship, through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta. Observe everyday life of Vietnamese villagers as they work at the rice fields. Check-in on board a traditional junk. A welcome drink is served on arrival before enjoying lunch on board with fresh seafood. Enjoy a fantastic cruise in Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, passing through many amazing islets such as Dinh Huong Island, Ga Choi Island and Sail Island. Enjoy some visits and/or activities (depending on each boat’s itinerary) or just relax on board. Towards the end of the day, the boat will set anchor for the night among the karst formations. Have fresh seafood for dinner. After dinner, try squid fishing or just relax and enjoy your evening. Overnight on board.

Day 3 : Halong Bay – Hanoi B/L/D A light breakfast (tea, coffee, fruits and cakes) is served on board. Begin your day with a Tai Chi exercise on deck while watching the sunrise. A wholesome brunch is served while the vessel cruises slowly through the magnificent rock formations and back towards port. Enjoy the tranquil scenery as the boat meanders its way through the bay on the way back to Ha Long city. Disembark and drive back to Hanoi. Enjoy a water puppet show – a very special show found only in Viet Nam - a series of ancient short stories and legends presented through the use of traditional music, song, and characters. The stage is actually a large container of water where the characters (carved wooden puppets) act out the story. The music is live, performed by a group of musicians that share a side stage adjacent to the water stage. After dinner, transfer to the hotel for check in and overnight in Hanoi. Remarks: + In the occasion of bad weather conditions, e.g. high winds, monsoons, thunderstorms, cyclones, storms, etc., the management board has the authority to cancel all cruises to guarantee the safety of tourists. Should this happen, accommodation will be at Ha Long City Hotel instead + The above itineraries are subject to change without notice based on weather conditions and following the seasons
