This year, 4-H Members have two options for preparing their 4-H Record Book:

1. The Traditional Way – Downloading and typing/writing into Personal Development Report, Annual Project Report, and Leadership Development Report Forms.

2. Using the Online Record Book (ORB) and printing out the complete reports when you are finished.

ORB is a good choice if the following is true for you:

A leader did not go in and enroll your family for you – A member of your family signed up at California.4honline.com, and you know your own account information.

You have an internet connection. You would rather have everything on a website than have to save it on your computer.

To get started with your record book the traditional way, go to ca4h.org/Resources/Publications/ (or, if you are viewing this on a computer, just check out the section below)

4-H Record Book Manual (PDF) (2011)

The 4-H Record Book has many specific requirements and detailed forms. This manual

contains descriptions of the parts of the Record Book as well as the different forms

necessary. Using this manual to assist you in filling out your Record Book will make the

process easier, faster, and more enjoyable!
