This module is premised on the belief that allorganisations comprises of individuals who, thoughthey may have personal objectives, are able to workcollaboratively in pursuit of overall operational andstrategic objectives. As such it is vital that there isleadership by those who have vision that providesdirection, active followers by those who carry outday-to-day activities that are part of ongoingprocesses and a sense of ‘order’ in terms oforganising every person in a coordinated way toensure that outputs are optimised. Students willalso gain awareness of their own behavioural styleand the impact it may be having on peers,employees, clients and their own managersThe Diploma in Leadership in Football & Sport is a 8-week programme. It will be a mixture of pre-recorded lectures for you to watch in your own time,and a once per week webinar hosted by the lecturerwho will take that week’s content. If you wish, youcan submit an essay at the end of the course. Youwill be given a range of topics on which to base youessay and you have four weeks in which to submit it.The word count guide is between 3-4,000 words. The module will have three interlinked theoreticalcomponents: 1.  Leadership2.  People3.  Organisation Duration of Diploma is 8 weeks.
