year is Friday, May 29, 2009. Sheridan Elementary School will be released at 1:25 p.m.

We will have a short awards assembly beginningat 9:15, followed by the annual Parent GroupCarnival. The Carnival will run from 10 a.m. Noon.

Yellow Group Kindergarten and Young Fivesstudents are invited, but must be accompanied by aparent.

Sheridan Springfest invites all kidsto walk in the 2009 Springfest KidsParade on Saturday, May 23, at 10a.m. No registration is necessary.Children of all ages who are interestedin participating should plan to arriveat 9:30 a.m. for the parade lineupthat starts on Pearl Lake Drive, just west of the VFW.

The parade will then proceed easton County Farm Road to the VFWs back parking lot, where prizes forcostumes will be awarded and freegames and refreshments will beoffered.

This years theme will be Honor ToThe Flag. The theme will show how the ag represents all Americans whohave fought for our freedom, eithernow or in the past, and how we honorthose Americans through honoringthe ag.

Participants are encouraged to dressor decorate in relation to the theme.In case of rain, the parade, games,and refreshments will be held insidethe VFW post. Please feel free to call(989) 2915033 with any questions.

If you are interested in beingselected at Miss Sheridan, you canpick up an entry form in the SheridanElementary School of ce. Contestantsshall not be less than ve years old

or older than 17 by May 1, 2009.Contestants must reside in the CentralMontcalm school district.
