Origin and Time Period

• Rock Latino was influenced by England and U.S. It started in the late 1950’s

• In the late 1960’s bands like santana were formed, and they started to incorporate jazz with their songs

• By the 1990’s it’s culture started to travel to the U.S. and other forms of rock were made, such as Alternative and Metal.

• Today Rock Latino has all different kinds of style such as pop, punk, alternative and metal.
