Rugby Competition Rules The laws of the game shall be those of the Rugby Football Union Age limit: normal school rules apply Senior matches will be seven (7) minute each way. U12-U16s shall be eight (8) minutes each way. Senior teams will be made up of seven (7) players. U12-U16s shall be ten (10) players in, but there can be an agreement that numbers will be equal if a House cannot field the full compliment. However, should a House fall below seven (7) then numbers will be unequal. Reserves may be used throughout matches with the permission of the referee. They may roll on and off from the Half-Way Line. The first named team shall play with the gold shirt, except the Sixth Form who will be provided with House Rugby shirts. Netball Competition Rules 7-a-side Normal netball rules apply A central whistle will sound for the start of the matches Matches will be 10 minutes each way 2 minutes at half time. Substitutions can be made at half

time as long as this does not delay the restart of the second half.

A central whistle will sound again to signify the start of the second half, and again at the end of the game.

Please bring your score cards to the administration staff on final whistle

5 minutes allocated for turnaround time where the scores will be collected and they can have a quick drink before starting the next game.

The 5 minutes should also be used to get teams organised for the next matches in order for them to start on time. When the start whistle sounds the teams must start to play immediately.

Football Competition Rules

The laws of the game shall be those of the ESFA. Age limit : normal school rules apply Each game shall be (8) minutes each way Each team shall consist of eight (8) players in the First Year.

All other years will attempt to play with eleven (11), but there will be an agreement that numbers will be equal if a House can not field the full compliment. However, should a House fall below seven (7) then numbers will be unequal.

Replacements may be used at any time, but only with the permission of the referee. There may not be any delay.

Teams shall play in their House tops. Yellow card is 3 minutes in the Sin Bin at half-way. This can

carry over to the next match. No offside applies in the 1 st Year matches The competition will be on a league basis with three

points for a win, two points for a draw and one for a loss.

Teams should report to the pitch on which they are to play 5 minutes before kick-off.

If teams are level on points at the end of the competition the team with: (i) the best goal difference will decide the placing If still equal the placing will be decided on(ii) the number of goals scored.
