WeddingsThe Hotel is located close to St. Mark’s Square and overlooks the point

where the waters of the Grand Canal meet those of St. Mark’s Basin.

The hotel (just next to Ca’ Giustinian, the historical headquarters of the

Venice Biennale), is located in one of the most fascinating and enchant-

ing settings in Venice, where one can enjoy the views of the Basilica

della Salute, the Islands of San Giorgio and Giudecca and the Punta

della Dogana.

This prized location, together with the attentive and discrete service,

make the Hotel the perfect place for weddings, ceremonies and ban-

quets.

St. Mark’s Square originally dates back to 828 A.D. and has had an im-

portant and turbulent history. The hub of commercial life in Venice, it

has grown in size over the centuries through the erection of new build-

ings and structures. In 1902, following the appearance of an ominous

crack, St. Mark’s Bell Tower (also known as the ‘Campanile’) completely

collapsed onto the square threatening to engulf the Basilica which was

miraculously spared. The bell tower was subsequently rebuilt and com-

pleted in 1912.
