Sample Appeal Letter/EmailDear Nana, My 5th grade class is going to Washington, DC in February. Yeah! I am so excited to learn about our nation’s history. Some of my classmates cannot afford to cover the $350 fee to go. I really want to help them. Our PTA set up a website to help our 5th grade class raise funds so everyone can go. Will you help out my class by donating to our DC trip? It’s really easy to - you can donate right here. Our goal is $1,000 by November 13th. Would you consider giving $50? Any amount will really help. Thanks!
