Table of conTenTs

From our publisherFlourishing businesses know that the key to revenue growth goes beyond the quality of the products they sell. It’s also about deliv-ering value and outstanding service.

The winners of the 2015 NJBIZ 50 Fastest Growing Companies hail from a variety of industries but share many of the same quali-ties, including determination and innovation.

At the top of this year’s list is The Rinaldi Group. The full-service construction man-agement and general contracting firm has gained solid footing for its quality work-manship and ability to offer cost-savings options to its clients.

Plenty of other sectors have afforded opportunities to grow, as well. In-deed, the companies profiled in these pages exemplify what it takes to sus-tain and accelerate growth. Their products may differ, but they share the ability to adapt and to keep pace with their customers’ needs.

I congratulate this year’s winners, as well as their leaders and their employees. They all are truly inspiring.

How the Companies Were Ranked

In order to qualify for this program, a company had to nominate itself or be nominated by another company. Applicants were required to supply three years of revenue information, demonstrate revenue of at least $500,000 all three years, and show increasing revenue overall from year one to three.

Companies were ranked by dollar growth from year one to three. The company with the largest dollar growth received the highest ranking, with the second com-pany receiving the second-highest ranking and the other companies following.

Rankings were then assigned for the percentage of growth from year one to year three. Here again, the company with the largest percentage growth was assigned the highest ranking. Ranking numbers for dollar and percentage growth were then totaled.

The company with the highest combined ranking was then ranked No.1, with the other companies following in order. In cases where there was a tie, the com-pany with the highest dollar growth received the higher ranking.

No longer is the gift that keeps on giving confined to holiday fruitcakes. These days, the wheeling and dealing is all about gift cards, and CardCash.com has been fa-cilitating the exchange process since its founding in 2008. The company continues to evolve with the times, too. It recently added Bitcoin as a form of accepted pay-ment, and closed out 2014 by announc-ing a new partnership with Walmart. CardCash.com will soon roll out similar part-nerships and launch its mobile app – both in time for the upcoming holiday season.

Sometimes, a company’s name says it all. The Action Environmental Group prides itself on providing the highest quality waste, recy-cling and environmental services to its cus-tomers in North Jersey and New York City. Founded in 1999, Action Environmental is committed to meeting and exceeding the compliance requirements of its highly reg-ulated industry. To that end, the company works to help educate its commercial and residential customers about the value of re-cycling. Action Environmental is a private equity-sponsored company that has grown largely through targeted acquisitions. The future looks bright for Action Environmen-tal, which plans to stay the successful course.

Health care reform has undeniably changed the landscape of the health in-surance industry. But that has only em-powered AmeriHealth New Jersey to map out new ways to help its customers. This past summer, AmeriHealth New Jersey partnered with Meridian Health to create the AmeriHealth Advantage plans, which offer more affordable coverage options to its customers. The insurance carrier, founded in 1995, recently rolled out a new, easier-to-navigate website, launched a text-messaging service and introduced its mobile app. The company plans to continue developing products to further meet its customers’ needs.

When it comes to insurance products, ProSight Specialty Insurance has it all cov-ered. Founded in 2009, ProSight works with expert distributors to provide un-matched value to every industry it serves. The company provides its services to a multitude of industries, such as construc-tion, energy and entertainment, among others. This year, ProSight launched a variety of insurance-solution programs, including drones, cranes, scaffolding and more. ProSight also secured a partnership with the North American Board of Cer-tified Energy Practitioners. The company plans to keep on its path into 2016.

Argo Turboserve Corporation was found-ed in 1996 with one objective: to strate-gically help improve the bottom line of its clients. The supply-chain management company focuses its work on the nuclear, aerospace, industrial supply chain, and dis-tribution and services industries. ATC re-cently acquired Argo International, which is now part of ATC’s distribution and ser-vices division. The move expanded ATC’s offerings from engineered packages to ser-vices and repairs. ATC plans to continue its growth with its existing clients and de-velop new partnerships.

Companies readying an advertising cam-paign no longer have to deal with Mad Men. That’s where Yashi comes in. Found-ed in 2007, Yashi is an innovative loca-tion-focused digital-advertising platform whose technology allows its clients to target, measure and achieve the best re-sults for their advertising campaigns in real time. As businesses become more global, the demand for enterprise-level cloud solu-tions is increasing. Datapipe has it cov-ered. Founded in 1998, Datapipe is a managed hosting and cloud-services pro-vider that offers a complete set of services and solutions tailored to each custom-er’s needs. Datapipe’s specialties include cloud computing, infrastructure as a ser-vice, platform as a service, and colocation and data centers. Datapipe recently ac-quired DualSpark, a consulting-services firm that simplifies the process of moving apps and critical infrastructure to the Amazon Web Services cloud.

Oftentimes the best work is done through partnerships. CP Professional Services was built on that principle. Founded in 2012, CP Professional Services is a full-service en-gineering, architecture, construction-man-agement and life sciences firm. The compa-ny works closely with its clients to develop innovative strategies and solutions that will exceed their needs, goals and expectations. Services include GMP remediation, gap analysis, quality compliance, validation, en-vironmental and more. The company has an additional office in Florham Park, and plans to expand into California, New England and New York.
