LANDSCAPE PLAN CHECKLIST a. Existing and proposed land uses and building on the subject lot, including the
location and dimensions of parking areas, driveways, sidewalks, loading and exterior storage areas, and if applicable, HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
b. Existing and proposed landscaping which will be used to comply with the requirements of this ordinance, including the location and dimensions of planting areas (including buffer yards); the number, location, spacing, and species of all plants, shrubs, and trees; an indication of the size and height of walls, earth berms and fences; and provisions for watering, soil stabilization, plant protection, and maintenance access;
c. Table showing the various types of landscaping elements required to meet the code, including landscape buffers, frontage or perimeter landscape areas, and parking lot landscaping along with the number of plants and their size/height at planting to meet the various landscape elements and their requirements in Section 12.
d. If other than a forested area, the number, location, species, and size in circumference four and one-half (4 ½) feet above grade of existing mature trees which are to be maintained and preserved for credit, as well as the type(s) and number(s) of other trees and vegetation (small and/or large) and for which credit is being requested for to meet the landscape standards as per Section 12.G;
e. The location and description of any barriers to be erected to protect any vegetation from damage during and/or after construction, such as a barrier installed no closer to a tree than its drip line;
f. Extent of any natural (forested) areas and type natural landscape to be preserved; and
g. Name of person/firm preparing the landscape plan with contact information, scale and north arrow.
