The design mix is applicable only for those cements whose properties are similar to theone supplied to us for conducting the mix design.

All the materials should be weigh batched. Suitable corrections are to be applied for

weight of aggregates, if they are not in SSD condition.

The bulk density and specific gravity of materials to be used shall be confirmed by testingof such materials from time to time. If any deviations in the above parameters are

observed, suitable corrections for mix proportions should be applied at site.

Remarks:

1. Correction for water absorption of sand and coarse aggregate is to be applied at site, if required.2. Water Absorption is to be determined in fine and coarse aggregate and correction is to be given for water to be added to the mix.

Suitable correction for bulkage should be given, if sand is wet or moist.

3. The mix proportion recommended above should be tried in the field using the proposed materials, and finalized by observing the actualperformance of the concrete mixes. Suitable modifications may be necessary to suit the field conditions in the light of experience

as well as for the particular materials used at the site in each case.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Curing of concrete assumes importance. The cast members / components should be continuously cured after 24 hrs.

Note: 1. The results relate only to the items tested.

2.  Report shall not be reproduced, except in full, without the written approval of the laboratory.

3.  Any corrections invalidate this report.
