4.It brings together the best of Spain’s and Madrid’s tradition, modernity and innovation.

The Idea of HES

• Help tourism sector SMEs to increase the energy efficiency and promote the use of renewable energies.

• Help hotels reduce their operational costs, increase competitiveness and sustainability and assist in mitigating the sector’s CO2 emissions.

• Respond to European Union environmental priorities and the UNWTO Davos Process on Tourism and Climate Change of 2007.
