4.1 EVALUATION OF CONVECTIVE HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT

Convective heat transfer coefficient can be defined as the amount of heat transmitted

for a unit temperature difference between the fluid and unit area of the surface in unit

time. The value of hc depend on the following factors:

1. Thermodynamic and transport property (viscosity, density, specific heat etc.)

2. ature of fluid flow
