Generator Electro erosion – Partial discharges stator winding

Mon, 2011-11-07 07:01 besirevic Joined: 2011-02-07 Hi Everybody,  In the last past week’s Alstom performed a major inspection on the generator. A borescopic inspection of bars side has been performed trough the vent ducts, of the stator core. Sadly we have found some traces of Electro erosion (partial, discharges) slot discharges, see the pictures in the attachment. Does anyone within the 6FA fleet have the same problem with the generator and can you share some information.  Type of the generator:  Alstom T237-26811500 V 95.625 kVA
