Service users, their friends and family are invited to attend our monthly meetings on the third Wednesday of the month at 6.15pm in the Community Mental Health Centre, Western Road, Clonmel.

Festival Artist Tom CampbellThis year South Tipperary Action Network has invited artist Tom Campbell to share
his creative construction techniques with the artists of Western Studio and their tutor Mia Carney during a two day workshop in advance of the festival.
These studio artists are always pushing the boundaries of the possible with their artworks and enjoyed this opportunity to realise new ideas and hone their skills.
The results will be revealed as part of an interactive public art event the Pop-up Bazaar under the arches of Clonmel’s Main Guard. Supported by STAN & South Tipperary Mental Health Services.

QuietA series of original monologues incorporating music focusing on various issues many young people face. The monologues range from serious topics to light hearted ones providing some comedic relief. Written and directed by Jacqueline Kiely, Quiet features a cast of eight teenagers all passionate about using the arts to promote a good cause.

The Harmony Program: Roger MehtaUtilising the music videos and lyrics of Eminem, Amy Winehouse, Macklemore & Ryan etc, the workshops help students identify if they are at risk of poor mental health and in danger of misusing alcohol or drugs as a coping mechanism. Students learn how to apply preventative strategies such as an ‘Emotional Toolkit’, build resilience and overcome the stigma of mental health illness and drug/alcohol misuse.
