morning procedures1. Enter the classroom silently.2. Put bookbags, coats, and hats in ___________. They will

remain there until the end of 3rd block. You will not be allowed to retrieve any belongings before this time.

3. Sit in your assigned seat and eat your breakfast. 4. Turn in notes and important papers to the teacher.5. Write down homework for first block in your agendas.6. Make sure you have 2 sharpened #2 pencils. No pencils

will be sharpened during the instructional day. If needed during instruction, trade with teacher.

7. Read the board and complete the assigned work.8. After morning work is completed, read silently, study, or

write in your journal.9. Listen to the morning news and read aloud.10.Make sure your are in proper uniform and have your

nametag on. **Shirts tucked in, nametag on collar.

food and drinks

• Food will only be eaten during breakfast and lunch time.

• There will no gum allowed at any time.• If you bring a water bottle, be sure to

consider that you will only be able to use the restroom during our scheduled bathroom breaks.

• We are responsible for clean-up after each meal.

• We will ALWAYS go to the bathroom as a class.

• We will not interrupt instructional time to use the bathroom.o If an emergency arises, an administrator

dealing with someone who has “wronged you”

1.Speak to the person you have a problem with first at lunch.

2.Use kind words, not actions, to try to solve the problem.

3.If the problem is not fixed, write a note or speak to your teacher.

4.If it’s an emergency, tell the teacher immediately. (physical violence, bad language, excessive bullying, property damage)

5.The PARK is a DRAMA FREE ZONE!

1.Do not argue/speak across the room in the middle of a lesson.

1.Chew your food with your mouth closed.2.When the music is on, raise your hand and DO

NOT talk. Wait to put your hand down until receiving a thumbs up from your teacher.

3.When the music is off, you may talk in a SOFT tone.

4.Raise your hand if you need something. Do not get up from your seat.

5.Do not speak down the table or to students at other tables.
