Our client’s challengeOur client was looking to improve the effectivenessof its temporary recruitment function and generateadministrative and contingent worker cost savings.They needed to standardize their end-to-endrecruitment processes and develop a directdelivery model while retaining their valuedpreferred supplier relationships.

Our client required the support of a solutionsprovider who could offer full compliance toregulatory, industry and contractual requirementsand retain relationships with key suppliers.

Our solutionWe began by performing a contingent workeraudit to understand current headcount, supplybase rates and length of assignments. Followingthis we were able to do a full process review acrossall business areas and design end-to-end futurestate processes.

We also developed post audit recommendationsfor standardizing supply base rates, policy rulesto mitigate legal risk and initiatives to drive costsavings.

The outcomeSince implementing our solution, we have madeover 4,500 contingency hires. Our client hasreduced its reliance on external suppliers from65% to just 4% which has generated ongoingsavings of £1 million per year.

Our client’s challengeOur client, an oilfield services provider, wantedto consolidate resourcing activity under a singleoperational solution. The key objectives were toimprove the experience for hiring managers andcandidates and reduce time-to-hire throughsourcing innovation and talent pooling. The clientalso wanted to improve response times and offerbroader access to the global talent pool byimproving sourcing and attraction approachesunder the client’s brand.

We were tasked with building a robust resourcingsolution to service these requirements.

Our solutionWe implemented a comprehensive multi-countryRPO solution, delivering services across the fivemain regions of Asia, Middle East, Europe, Africaand Russia Caspian. Onsite recruitment serviceswere delivered in 16 countries with offsitecentralized sourcing and administration servicesbeing delivered to over 60 countries in total.

We operated from five main hubs with support fromtwo global client service centres in the Philippinesand Poland.

The outcomeAfter implementing the solution three years ago,we now make over 4,000 placements per year onbehalf of our client.

Our direct hire RPO solution has reduced ourclient’s time-to-hire by 50% to 24 days. We havealso significantly reduced the cost-per-hire byreducing the reliance on external suppliers fromover 50% to less than 5%.

Our scope of services has grown every yearand now also includes graduate and seniormanagement hiring.

Our client’s challengeOur client, an Australian based oil and gas operator,was looking for the support of a strategic staffingpartner who could provide a centrally managedrecruitment and resourcing solution for their globalstaffing process. They wanted to work with acompany who could provide them with a fullreporting suite, develop a range of measurableHR metrics and improve the hiring efficiency acrosstheir entire recruitment operation.

Our solutionWorking from our network of five offices acrossAustralia, we implemented a fully integratedRPO solution to cover their core hiring divisionsof permanent recruitment, contract staffing,executive search, training and pre-employmentassessments. We also gave our client a centralpoint of contact responsible for the implementationof the overall solution who could report against thecompany’s key performance indicators.

The outcomeWithin the first year of implementing the solution,we halved our client’s dependency on externalsuppliers to just 20%, with a further reduction to7% within three years, representing a significantcost saving to the business. We also materiallyreduced our client’s time-to-hire.

Such was the seamless integration of our teamwithin our client's organization, that during theprocess we also helped our client to set up severalinitiatives, including a career flexibility programwhich allowed job-sharing among part timeworkers and a push to recruit over 30 staff witha disability, to adhere to their newly developedcorporate responsibility guidelines.

Through this integrated approach, over 1,100 staffwere brought into the business within six monthsof launch.
