    and adults internalize and act on these cultural models,thereby tending to limit their sense of self-worth and dignity;THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the 1977 General Assemblyof the Unitarian Universalist Association calls upon all UnitarianUniversalists to examine carefully their own religious beliefs

    and the extent to which these beliefs influence sex-rolestereotypes within their own families; andBE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the General Assembly urgesthe Board of Trustees of the Unitarian Universalist Associationto encourage the Unitarian Universalist Association to make

    Summary: Hazardous and radioactive waste is buriedabove the Snake River Aquifer, threatening the drinkingwater of nearly 300,000 people. Us. Waste that threatensthe aquifer must be dug up.Background and Current Situation: The Subsurface

    Disposal Area began as a shallow land burial site for theIdaho National Laboratorys waste. INL waste buriedthere even includes old reactor parts. The burial groundshave expanded over the years, primarily toaccommodate nuclear waste from the Rocky Flats,

    Colorado, factory that made plutonium triggers fornuclear weapons. The 88-acre plot now includes 16 pitsand 54 trenches, all unlined.Low-level radioactive waste not mixed with hazardouschemicals from INL is still being buried in the unlined pits.
