75 th INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION Vana Vani celebrated the Independence Day on August 15 th , which was also live streamed in Vana Vani You Tube Channel. The cultural part of the day’s programme was conceptualized and organized by Social Science Department. The programme started with the prayer song, followed by welcome address by Mrs. Gitanjali Elangovan. Flag was hoisted by the Chief Guest Prof. Arun.K.Tangirala and a group of teachers sung the flag song. Mr. Varadharajan gave a speech in Hindi while Mrs.Indu Manoj in English. A thought provoking skit was enacted by the Language department on TIRUPPUR KUMARAN and an English skit titled FLASH BACK, was enacted by teachers from all sections of the school, on the unknown facts of our Indian Independence .

Our Secretary cum Treasurer Shri.P.Sarvaharana shared his thoughts and ideas on freedom and

Independence.

A special mention to our school band who were part of the I.I.T. Campus Independence day celebration and our

school National Anthem . Vote of thanks was delivered by Mrs. Geetha Balaji and the programme was

compered by Mrs.Agnes Lourdraj. Students from 8th

std to 12th std showed their skill in drawing and contributed

for the school Notice Board.

Our freedom fighters laid down their lives for our freedom. Always respect them.

INDEPENDENCE DAY

We belong to a land that has a rich history and culture that is more than

5,000 years old. Proud to be an Indian. Let us follow in the footsteps of our

forefathers and make our country strong and prosperous.

Vana Vani Matriculation Higher Secondary School celebrated 75th

Independence Day on August 15th with great zeal and enthusiasm this

year. It was also video cast on Vana Vani YouTube Channel.

Social Science Department conceptualized and organized the whole

program. The children could not come to school because of the lockdown

and other restrictions. So to instil the patriotic spirit and enthusiasm in

their minds and hearts, teachers enacted the whole program.

The program commenced with the Prayer Song. Mrs. Gitanjali Elangovan

delivered the welcome address. The Chief Guest Prof. Arun. K.Tangirala

hoisted the flag and, the teachers sang the flag song.

Mr. Varadharajan delivered a speech in Hindi while Mrs.Indu Manoj in

English. The teachers sang patriotic songs. The Language Department

enacted a thought-provoking skit on the life of TIRUPPUR KUMARAN and,

teachers from all sections of the school enacted an English Skit-

"FLASHBACK” which highlighted the unknown facts of our Indian

Independence.

The Chief Guest, Prof. Arun. K. Tangirala administered the oath and spoke

on the importance of freedom and the need to take up our responsibilities.

Our Secretary cum Treasurer Shri P. Sarvaharana shared his thoughts and

ideas on freedom too.

Our school band participated in IIT Madras Campus Independence Day

Celebration and played the National Anthem.

Mrs. Geetha Balaji delivered the Vote of thanks, and Mrs.Agnes Lourdraj

compered the whole program. Students from 8th Std to 12th Std showed

their skills in poster designing for the special occasion and contributed to

the school Notice Board.
