1) To turn your pager offAt the Initial Function Mode (Pictures) press andrelease [M]button until “PAGER OFF?” is displayed.Press [S]button .

In this status, you cannot receive a messagebut the functions of Calendar, Alarm,AUTO ON / OFF willnormally operate.

7. RECEIVING AND READING YOUR MESSAGES

In Standby Mode Screen, Press [M]button for 2 secondsto display the function menu.The function menu gives you to access to the manyfeatures of your pager through series of symbols.

6. USING THE FUNCTION MENU

When a message is received, the pager alerts anddisplays received message.

1) Press any button to stop the alert.2) Press [S]button to display your message.

Your pager automatically stores the message and the time it is received. ¡ In case of receiving the same message, icon is

displayed. (Picture 6)¡ In case of receiving a message over 12 digits, icon

¡ In case of receiving the messages over 18 numbers,the ‘ PAGE FULL’ is displayed and receivedmessage is erased and new message is stored. (Picture 7)

1) In order to read stored message : Press [S]button at the Standby Mode, then the received messages are displayed in sequence.

After displaying a message, the sequence, week,time are displayed. (Picture 10)

2) Return to Standby Mode:If pressing [M]button at the same time during displaying the received message, you can return to Stanby Mode.(Picture 4)

1) If you press [M]button for 1 second while displaying amessage, ‘ PROTECT ?’ is displayed. If you press[S]button , icon is displayed and the read message is protected. (Picture 11)

2) If pressing [M]button 1 second while displaying amessage, ‘ UNPROTECT ?’ is displayed. If you press [S]button , icon is disappeared and the message is unprotected. (Picture 12)

¡ NOTE ¡You can protect up to max. 12 messages.

1) Erasing Individual MessageIf you press [M]button twice while a message is displayed, ‘ERASE ?’ is displayed. If you press[S]button , the message is erased. (Picture 13)

2) Erasing All MessagesIf you press [M]button at the initial Function Mode(‘SET ALERT ?’), ‘ERASE ALL ?’ is displayed.(Picture 14). If pressing [S]button , all stored messages are erased and ‘ALL ERASED ‘is displayed.

¡ NOTE ¡You can erase the protected message after

unprotecting the message.

You can set your pager to alert with one of vibration, tone,or melody.

1) If you press [M]button for about 2 seconds at theStandby Mode, ‘ SET ALERT ? ‘is displayed and youcan move to Function Mode.

2) If you press [S]button once, the pre-set ALERTMODE is displayed.

3) Choose the ALERT MODE you want by pressing[M]button .(‘TONE ?’ , ‘MELODY ?’ , ‘VIBRATE ?’ )

4) Press [S]button at the ALERT MODE you want.

You can set your pager’s alarm to alert at a certain timeof day.

To enable the alarm : 1) At standby mode, Press and release [M]button for

You can set your pager to turn on or off at a selected time of day.

To enable automatic ON / OFF :1) At standby mode, Press and release [M]button for

2 seconds and press [M]button until ‘SET AUTO ?’ is displayed. (Picture 28)

To enable REMIND ON / OFF :1) Press and release [M]button , at standby mode And

1) Display of Unread MessageIn case of unread message, the number(‘01’) of the message is displayed at the left upper side.(Picture 37)

2) Backlight FunctionIf you press [S]button for 2 seconds at the status of standby mode, the ON / OFF is toggled. 8 seconds later, LAMP is automatically went out .

3) Alarm for Battery ChangingIf the battery is exhausted, the alarm sound is heardonce with displaying icon and after that, only theicon blinks. (Picture 38)

1) Diagnosis by userWhen you put a battery into a pager, you can check the status of your pager as per the following procedures.(1) All LCD is ON (2) LAMP is lighted (3) TONE is heard (4) VIBRATOR is operated.Through the above 4 steps, you can check if LCD / LAMP / BUZZER / VIBRATOR are normal.

2) Self-Diagnosis of PagerThrough the same procedures as No.1), you can testif your pager operates well and find out problems and reasons. The messages like Picture 40, 41 are not displayed when the pager operates normally.

What is Self-Diagnosis ?It is to diagnose the status of the main parts in the pager by itself and to find out if there is a problem or not so that you can prevent from malfunction and it makes maintenance easy.

Your pager is designed to operate with a single AAA-sizealkaline battery. See the diagram for the battery door location.To install or replace the battery, place the pager face down and proceed as follows;

1) Lower the locking device and open the battery door in the arrow direction(¢”).

2) If you put a battery into the pager, alarm sound isheard and your pager is ready to receive a message.

3) Close the battery door and lock the locking device.
