Can effectively meet a wide variety of dental anesthesia needs. The onset of anesthetic action is fast—30 to 120 seconds in the upper jaw, and 1 to 4 minutes in the lower jaw. Providesfast-acting anesthesia for intermediate durations, and is sulfite-free. Indicated for production oflocal anesthesia for dental procedures by infiltration or nerve block in adults and children.

Provides profound operative anesthesia for up to six hours, and prolonged soft-tissue paincontrol for up to seven hours. Its unique,extended anesthetic action reduces the need for postoperative analgesics. Onset of theanesthesia takes only two to ten minutes.Marcaine is indicated for the production of local anesthesia for dental procedures by infiltration injection or nerve block in adults.

Septocaine is desirable with a fast onset (1 to 9 minutes) to avoid delay before effective analgesia is achieved. Duration of anesthesia is up to 60 minutes for infiltration injections and 120 minutes for nerve blocks. No-methylparaben formulation helps to avoid allergic reactions on sensitive patients with 100 percent latex-free components to reduce allergic responses.
