Egypt is a unique, ancient and wondrous destination that has a lot to offer its visitors, no matter their ages and interests. It is a fantastic place for nomads, scholars and residents alike. The Greater Cairo area has a population of 20 million people with the city sprawled along the longest river in the world, the Nile. Encompassing the Pyramids of Giza, beautiful mosques and churches as well as numerous museums, the Arab world’s most populous city is teeming with life. Explore the winding streets of Cairo, and you will find a budding art and music scene as well as numerous cafes and coffee houses, famous for their tea and backgammon. The dialect of Arabic spoken in Egypt is the most well- known and most understood in the Arab world, making Egypt a prime language learning center in the Middle East. When you decide to study in Egypt, you open yourself to a new world filled with diverse cultures, histories, art and ideas. Founded in 1919, AUC is a leading English- language, American-accredited institution of higher education and a center of intellectual, social and cultural life of the Arab world. Its community of students, parents, faculty and staff, trustees, alumni and other generous sponsors represent more than 60 countries. Once you are accepted, you need to complete your Preliminary Course Planning Form (PCP) from this link. It is mandatory to fill out five courses and at least three alternative courses on your PCP form based on the schedule of classes for the specific semester. Early completion of the form, ensures availability of classes.If you are a graduate nondegree student, the PCP form should include the list of approved courses in your acceptance letter and at least two alternative courses.

You do not need to register online. The IPO advisors registers you in all your classes during the registration period. If you have any inquiries, please email [email protected]
