9. Did this meeting help to fill your learning needs?
Yes, and informative and interesting discussion
yes
Well targeted presentation
YesGood palliative care requires ongoing education
Yes.
Yes
yes
somewhat, great presentation but I would have wanted a bit more specific learning on how to carry out an effective consultation (or series of consultations) to empower and encourage people to plan their care in advance - e.g. sensitive phrases, what to look for in people ready to have that discussion

10. What was good about it?
I enjoyed the format of discussion and the encouragement of participation.
lots of useful discussion from both GP and palliative care perspectives.
Timed well
Stimulated excellent excahnge of good and bad practiceAll particpants took partWell chairedInteractive sessionAppropriate patient & when to start were useful points
For me the best part was the opportunity for discussion with other GPs and learn from their experiences.
engaging speaker, interactive
Encouragement of questions, open honest discussions, sharing of experiences
11. What was bad about it?
nil
Nil
There were no negatives for me
It was all good!
Ran out of time on later slides
12. How would you improve it?
Keep it up
some smaller group learning within the meeting
Perhaps using a couple of case studies may be useful to focus on AC planning.
More specific case studies (we can meander and expand as required, but helps to have to structure discussions) Also, a bit more on non cancer pall care advance planning e.g. stroke, heart failure, COPD etc. and useful topics to cover - for e.g.,maybe some role plays on how to guide a patient and/or family through a booklet of My Thinking Ahead and Making Plans and anticipated difficult questions

10. What was good about it?
engaging speaker, who was knowledgeable and pitched information at the correct level
Case studies to illustrate and sparked lovely debateVery perceptive speaker, really understood his audience
I have a better understanding of delirium at the end of life and ways of managing this.
11. What was bad about it?
the room was slightly cramped.....
Nothing. The evening was very helpful.
12. How would you improve it?
as above - bigger room and ?refereshments, athough this was a free event so I did not expect this, but a cup of tea after a day at work would have been nice!
Worth doing a quiz in advanced to prompt people to think ahead about key issues? Applicable for most tricky topics :)
Good evening as it stands.
