By using the Bauer trench cutting system you can be assured of a proven and reliable product. Our experience in the construction of cutting systems has contributed to the success of our customers in terms of efficiency and reliability since 1984.

The BCS 40 is a special rig, focused on the trench cutter method. As a perfect combination of three long established systems – the trench cutter BC 32, the hose handling system HSS 40 and the base carrier MT 120 – its main advantages are as follows:

BC 32

The technically advanced BC 32 is a well established and all over the world success-fully working cutter unit for the most diverse construction projects even in restricted site conditions, at great depths and in difficult soil formations.

HSS 40

The hose synchronization system HSS is the perfect solution for using the cutter on a drilling rig. The guide wheels for the mud hose, the hydraulic hoses and the cutter rope are mounted on a special sledge, which is lifted and lowered by the main winch of the base carrier. The uniform movement of the guide wheels is mechanically synchronizing the movement of the hoses and the cutter rope.

MT 120

The base carrier is offering all facilities to carry a successful cutter system. The solid Bauer design is standing for high stability as well as HSE features like rear view camera, service-friendly catwalk and ergonomic cabin design – with high comfort for the operator. The B-Tronic system which has been developed by Bauer Maschinen is an integrated system used to control the cutting functions and display the current working parameters in real-time. Assistance systems support the operator and increase the productivity of the equipment.
