Dear Golden Chamber of Commerce Members,
Since officially taking on the position as President/CEO for the Golden Chamber of Commerce (Aug. 17th), I have met many wonderful members of this community. Many of whom give of their time, energy, and talents, in some capacity as volunteers for the Golden Chamber of Commerce. You are all greatly appreciated. I have also developed a great appreciation for the Golden Chamber Board of Directors and I thank the Board Members for your on-going support of my efforts and leadership.
During these past several weeks I have addressed the staffing needs for the Golden Chamber, and have identified and defined employment positions. I am pleased to present the staff for the Golden Chamber of Commerce. Please see the included bios for our lovely “Golden Girls.”
During these next few weeks, we will be making calls in-person and via phone to every contact in our Chamber Master database. Businesses that are not current in their membership will be extended an invitation to re-join as a member of the Golden Chamber of Commerce.
All businesses and non-profit organizations in good standing with their Golden Chamber membership will be given two complimentary listings (alpha and business section) in our 2016 Membership Directory. This keepsake directory is ti-
tled 95 Years in the Making and will feature photos from Then & Now. We are thankful to be working with John Tracey, collaborating efforts to design our 2016 Membership Directory.
For our Golden Chamber members, we are implementing on-going communication via email and website. On the first day of every month, you will receive a CEO monthly e-newsletter. On Monday of each week (excluding holidays) you
will be emailed our ”Golden Highlights”. This is an at-a-glance which will briefly highlight all the Golden Chamber activities for that week, such as: meetings, ribbon cuttings, grand openings, socials, and special events. These will also be posted on the Golden Chamber website at www.goldencochamber.org.
We will continue to increase our Golden Chamber membership benefits by providing better visibility and recognition on our website. I am happy to announce that Golden Marketing, llc, won the bid for the re-design of our current website. We will incorporate elements which will enable tourists, businesses, guests, families, and members of our community to easily search and find “information” pertinent to the Greater Golden Area.
As we put forth efforts to benefit our members and the economy of our community, I thank all of you for walking on this new path with us and for your being a valued member of the Golden Chamber of Commerce.
Sincerely,
Leslie Klane

Malori Plush
Joins the Golden Chamber as our Administrative Man-
ager. Her first exposure to a Chamber of Commerce
was during her Economic Development Internship with
the Mayor’s Office in Colorado Springs. After she
worked as Special Events Assistant for the City of Colo-
rado Springs, Malori spent 3 years working at the beauti-
ful Vista Verde Guest Ranch in Steamboat Springs as
their Front Office Manager. One of her greatest passions
is traveling, and in the past few years Malori has walked
across Spain on the Camino de Santiago, visited the
beaches in Thailand, and hiked up the coast of Portugal.
She is very excited to now live in Golden for the genuine
community and small town feel. The part she loves most
is she can spend time trail running, fly fishing and hiking
in the nearby mountains. Malori on top of the 14er Mt. Bierstadt
Nola Krajewski
Our new Membership Representative, Nola, joins the Gold-
en Chamber with over 12 years of nonprofit experience. Her
successes working for United Way and raising funds
through workplace giving campaigns, will lend well into her
new position working with the members of our community.
Nola also instructed pre and post-natal fitness classes with
Denver Foothills Fit4Mom. She holds a Masters degree in
Social Work with a focus on communities. Two years ago,
Nola and her husband chose to move to Golden to raise
their young, active family. With her three young boys (ages
2, 3, and 6) Nola is often out exploring along Clear Creek,
visiting the Golden library, and cheering her sons on at
baseball and soccer games. When she’s able to sneak
away, she loves to go for a run. Nola is looking forward to
personally connecting with our Golden Chamber members. Nola with her husband and three boys
Carol Ann Bowles
We are very happy to have Carol Ann on board as our
Holiday Activities Coordinator. She will coordinate our
Candlelight Walk, Breakfast with Santa, and Holiday Pa-
rades. Prior this role, Carol Ann worked for the Golden
Chamber and Visitor’s Center for 23 years in many capac-
ities. She also served as President of the Golden Jaycee
Women and is a graduate of Leadership Golden. An ad-
venturous spirit, she lived for two years in Darmstadt, Ger-
many and also worked at Grand Canyon National
Park. The Golden Chamber holds “bragging rights”
thanks to Carol Ann, as she produced a video in tribute to
Golden’s Volunteers. This video won national recognition
and 1st place for National Volunteer Week. We are happy
to have, as we fondly call her, “Christmas Carol” back.
Tori Bowersock
As our Volunteer Coordinator, Tori has jumped into her new role with great suc-
cess in brining us new volunteers. She will be recruiting volunteers for our
Golden Chamber special events, as well as managing on-going volunteer com-
munication. Tori has an extensive background in regional sales and customer
service. She enjoys a challenge and is excited for the continued opportunity to
serve the Golden community and its residents. In her spare time, Tori loves to
travel, mostly to someplace warm with a beach. A Colorado resident for over 40
years, she loves the beauty of our Colorado mountains and hikes 14ers every
year. Tori is married and has two wonderful children and grandchildren.
