DESCRIPTION

The PADDLE series is a value decorative-style button contact closure wall station compatible with B.E.G. Controls PP series power packs and line or low voltage occupancy or vacancy sensors. The wall station connects to the power pack or sensor switch inputs for on/off switching and/or raise/lower dimming functionality depending on the power pack model features. The high-impact plastic button is durable and easy to actuate. The PADDLE button station can be installed in any standard single-gang or multi-gang wall switch box. Wiring is simple with the option for back or side wiring. Mounting hardware is included. Wall cover plate is not included. The PADDLE button station is compatible with decorative-style wall plates by others. The PADDLE button station can be used for any application that requires a low voltage or line voltage normally-open momentary dry contact closure.

OPERATION

The button provides on/off switching and/or raise/lower dimming functionality depending on the power pack or line voltage sensor model features. The button is normally open. Press the button to close the contact, and then release the button to open the contact. For power packs or sensors that feature switching of loads only, a short press of the button will alternately switch the relay on or off. For power packs or sensors that feature switching and dimming of loads, a short press of the button will alternately switch the relay on or off, and a long press will raise or lower the light level. Press and hold the button to dim, and to reverse direction release the button and then press and hold it again.
