A.4 Periodisches System der Elemente
* Lanthaniden ** Actiniden

A.6 Einige mathematische Formeln
A.6.1 Vektoralgebra
Deshalb gilt a x b =-b x o,. In kartesischen Koordinaten kann man schreiben (zyklische Vertauschung der ersten drei Indizes) (a x b)x = aybz - azby, (a x b)y = azbx - axbz , (a x b)z = axby - aybx.
594 A Anhang
Deshalb gilt a· b= b·a. In kartesischen Koordinaten kann man schreiben a· b = axbx + ayby + azbz . (b xc). Fur die zweifache Vektormultiplikation (vector triple product) gilt a x (b xc) = b (a· c) - c(a· b).
A.6.2 Vektoranalysis
div grad u = Llu
rot grad u = ° div rot iJ = ° rot rot iJ = grad ( diviJ) - LliJ

(In kartesischen Koordinaten ist Ll vein Vektor mit den Komponenten Llvx , Llvy und Llvz .)
div (uv) = V . grad u + u div v
rot (uv) = urot v - v x grad u .
