In 2017, we raised more than $350,000 to help meet our mission! Whatan amazing evening celebrating strength & survivorship throughout the breast cancer community. Nearly 1,600 supporters gathered for a common cause: to help save lives and end breast cancer forever. The evening beganwith our VIP Reception on the main floor of Arvest Bank Theatre at The Midland. Guests were treated to signature cocktails as well as incredible dinner and desserts provided by the fine sta® at The Dubiner. While our VIPs were eating and drinking, famed local KC artist Lisa Lala began creating another one-of-a-kind masterpiece in front of our eyes on the main stage. Lisa’s art was ultimately sold through our Live Auctionfeaturing The Nigro Brothers Auctioneers later in the evening.

And then the main event: Barenaked Ladies! The next 90-plus minutes and 17-plus songs spanned their legendary rockand roll career. Fans were on their feet, singing, dancing and celebrating with Canadian rock royalty as the foursomeplayed their most famous songs including a brief rendition of “Barracuda” by Heart; our Rock the Ribbon I headliners.
