Our cylinders are BLEVE-free (less risk of rupture and explosion in case of fire) and offer greater reassurance for businesses.Their high mechanical resistance ensures 50% higher burst pressure than steel counterparts making them a durable cylinder, even after many years of use.
The rust-free materials mean easier and faster quality control and easy visual damage detection. Regulatory markings are permanently engraved on the pressure vessel itself.

TranslucentUsers can easily see the level of gas and know when it’s time to refill, which means they will be less likely to run out of gas while the cylinder is in use. Their translucent construction eliminates the need for inaccurate gauges. A simple quick visual check is enough to confirm how much LPG remains in the cylinder.
Rust-freeOur cylinders do not rust, eliminatingthe risk of gas leaks caused bycorrosion, and they do not stain surfaces, preserving kitchen cabinets, decks, cars or boats. The rust-free materials do not require refurbishment, a common process that steel cylinders undergo and that generates toxic residues, preserving the environment and saving energy.

Quality-assured manufacturing
Our cylinders are manufactured at our state-of-the-art production plant in Norway. Our fully-automated production line is the only one of its kind in the world and has a capacity of 2 million cylinders yearly. Quality is assured throughout with all steps in the value chain and all processes certified according to ISO 9001. During the manufacturing process, there are more than 35 points where production data on each cylinder is collected and stored for full traceability.
Innovation in every cylinder
We are the leading manufacturer of seamless composite cylinders. The manufacturing process is as follows:• First, an inner liner of polyethylene (HDPE) is blow-molded. • Glass fibers and resin are then wound around the liner to create the pressure vessel. • To provide even greater support and bring an element of design to the cylinder, we add an outer layer in the form of a polyethylene (HDPE) casing. This distinctive casing, trademarked by Hexagon Ragasco, provides both protection and an ergonomic grip. It also allows customers to brand their cylinders.
The entire process is performed in-house and is fully automated, starting with the raw materials through to the completed cylinders being placed on pallets, ready for shipment.We recycle most of the scrap from our plastic liner production in-house and our plant is powered by 100% renewable hydroelectric power. Automation and our focus on sustainable processes, make our composite cylinders the most efficiently-produced in the world.
