The purpose of the UMW is as follows: The organized units of UNITED METHODIST WOMEN shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Monday, September 12 - The Morning and Evening Circles will hold a Combined General meeting at 10:30am in the Community Room.
This meeting will include the election and installation of the 2017 officers.

Stephen Ministry at Archdale UMC Stephen Ministry is a ministry in our congregation in which trained and supervised lay persons, called Stephen Ministers, provide one-to-one Christian care to individuals facing life challenges or difficulties. The name “Stephen” comes from St. Stephen, who was the first lay person commissioned by the apostles to provide caring ministry to
those in need as recorded in Acts 6. Stephen Ministry was founded in 1975 by Kenneth Haugk in St. Louis, MO. We have had Stephen Ministry here at Archdale UMC since 1997 and we are one of more than 7,500 Stephen Ministry congregations from more than 90 denominations. Stephen Ministers are caring Christian friends who listen, understand, accept, and pray for and with those who are working through a crisis or a tough time. If you would like to talk with a Ste-phen Minister or know someone who would benefit from having a Stephen Minister meet with them, please contact our Pastor, Dana Bunn or a Stephen Leader: Peggy Johnson or Rosa Allred.

The church is located on Archdale Rd. across from Kynwood Village in Trinity. We’re praying that this time of leaning into God’s Word together will help equip us to be His church as we share His love in our communities.
