We will be mixing in some classics with newer books. All will be available for purchase on amazon.com, and most of these will be available at a local Barnes & Noble or Christian bookstore. Our first 5 books will be as follows: 1) The Screwtape Letters by C. S. Lewis 2) Jesus among Other Gods by Ravi Zacharias 3) Life Together by Dietrich Bonhoeffer 4) The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel 5) Crazy Love by Francis Chan Method: We will set certain chapters to be read on our own before each session. Everyone is encouraged to write down questions from the text that you would like to discuss with the group. We will take turns raising questions and discussion topics from the reading. We will always have our Bibles too to see if what we are reading is in concert with God’s Word, since His Word is the final authority on shaping our hearts, minds, and souls. Goal: This is an opportunity to develop stronger bonds as we sharpen each other’s minds for the cause of Christ. Wide reading, discussion, and application is part of how we love God with all of our minds.
