…. Logging company A cell is like a logging company because a logging company has different parts to run smoothly like a cell.

Nucleus Nucleus is like a the owner of the logging company he controls what goes on in the woods. The nucleus is very important part of the cell because it controls the center of the cell.

Cell WallCell wall is like a tree, standards on a truck, and hard hats, safety glasses, and chaps, because the tree is the structure of logging, the support is the standards on a log truck to hold the logs. The protection is hard hats, safety glasses, and chaps to protect yourself. A cell wall structure, supports, and protects the cell.

Cell MembraneCell Membrane is like a skidder, loader, and logging truck because the skidder and loader bring it in, and the logging truck takes it out. Cell membrane regulates what goes in/out of the cell.

Endoplasmic Reticulum

Endoplasmic Reticulum is like a skid road because like when proteins move through, well trees have to have clear pathways to which is skid roads. The endoplasmic reticulum passages for proteins to move through.

Golgi ApparatusGolgi Apparatus is like loading logs on a log truck because packaging them is loading on a truck and shipping them out. A Golgi apparatus packages and ships proteins.

Mitochondrion Mitochondrion is like a chain saw which is the power house and then gas and the human is the energy, because chain saw, gas, and man power produces the logs. Mitochondrion is a power house that produces energy (cell respiration).

Vacuole

Vacuole is like a tree top laying in the forest floor is the waste, also the food is the tree tops, and water is the roots in the ground, because the tree tops waste is the leaves they will decay as days go on. Also tree tops is food that gives off when the leaves decay they fertilize the ground more. An the roots in the ground of the tree is water they draw water from the ground and water goes in the leaves and the sun evaporates the water, vacuole stores waste, food , and water.

RibosomeRibosome is like a log because they produce lumber to build houses and other things, the ribosome produces protein.

The differences between plant and animal cells

Plant cell A plant cell has photosynthesis and cell respiration. They are green which is due to chlorophyll.The plant cell has chloroplast. Also the plant cell is a square due to the cell wall.Finally the plant cell has 1 large central vacuole.

Animal cell The animal cell is the only cell that respiration.The animal cell has white/pink/red blood.They do not have chloroplast.A animal cell can be any shape (rounded).They have many, small vacuoles.
