A CLIP PARK BETWEEN CAORLE AND BIBIONEstudent elisa montecourse of landscape architecture II

This project aims to increase the potential of this land which risks to lose its identity directly connected to tourism and agricultural productivity. This risk results first of all from larger scale factors due to climatic changes, such as see level incrising, next to phenomenons typical of reclameid areas, such as subsidence and raising salinity. These phenomenons need public strategies such as dikes control, reducing of drawing water from the subsoil and the realization of a wooded border. The private farms carry out other strategies due to organic farming and energetic agriculture in exchange for an economic advantage, becoming an example for the surrounding areas. The reclamation activity moreover has modified the landscape of the ancient lagoon into a sort of tabula rasa where the horizontal component predominates. This particular condition permits to operate with incisions, marks and volumes. The park becomes a huge clip which is the metaphor of the thick wooded border. This one puts together the lagoon’s biceps both ecologically and touristically. Moreover it defines a green circuit which connected the two seaside resort, Caorle and Bibione, introducing a new form of tourism founded on exploring nature and minding the palimpsest of historical signs which has constructed this land.
first scenery: no contrast actions, subsidence, rising sea level, raising salinity
second scenery: realization of a water reservoir at the foot of the dyke, dike rising, wooded border to control evaporation
