What is it?
Electricity is the power which is produced by rubbing
(friction), by a machine called a generator or by
chemical means (e.g. a battery).
Can we see it ?
No, it’s a kind of energy that we cannot see.
It’s invisible.
Can we touch it? No, we can’t.
We may get an electric shock. It’s dangerous.

Electricity comes into our flats through thin wires, and

wires are called cables and they are buried
underground. Cables are connected to power stations.
