needs of our partners and end users by this routine data.
The data displayed and summarized the activities of the airport
operators.
While the airport provides services, the statistical report is one of its
outputs that parallel to these services.
The statistical document will give chance of accessibility to every
provider and receiver to evaluate general performance.
We hope it always contributes in your planning and gives more new
visions to your business.

INTRODUCTION
We took all reasonable endeavors to ensure the accuracy of this data
Even these figures are reliable but are subject to usual statistical norms
and variables, so the marginal error might be negligible.
Data collected as primary, data processing focused upon high
frequency demand.
The data classified and tabulated to give a complete picture of 2016 in a
simplest form, in order to improve airport service quality (ASQ).
This year bears both positive and negative changes.
International traffic affected by regional events.
Jet fuel prices affected domestic passenger traffic.

GLOBAL AND REGIONAL TRAFFIC
International passenger traffic rose 6.7% in 2016(3.5 trillion
passenger) compared to 2015.
Capacity rose 6.9% and load factor fell 0.2 percentage points to 79.6%.
Middle East world share 9.6%, total passengers increased 12.9%
Middle East carriers capacity growth 13.7% with load factor 74.7%
IATA members (268 airlines) transported 83% of total air traffic.
AIR CARGO:
Global air cargo ended 2016 positively 3.8% (33 million tonnes).
In Middle East air cargo growth 6.9% compared to 2015.
STATISTICAL SUMMARY
INTERNATIONMAL TRAFFIC:
The total passenger of the year 2016 rose 11.7% compared to 2015.
The international flights ended by positive difference 1257 pointed to 10.7%.
Online transit passengers declined 60.6%.
Hajj season of 1437 H. less than 1436 H. by 7.5%.
International non scheduled flights (for refueling) declined by 32%.
Incoming HUMANREMAINS were 779 approximately equal to the previous year.
International Freight and courier mail exceeded the year 2015 by 12.5%.
DOMESTIC TRAFFIC:
The total number of passenger (scheduled and non scheduled) who travelled
between KRT and the Regional airports exceeded the year 2015 by 7%.
Domestic schedule flights rose 20.7% compared to 2015.
.Non schedule flights (Oil production area) slope negatively 18.5%
Cargo volume fell 448 tone pointed to 8.7%.
Jet fuel prices ended 2016 by USD 0.4739 (SDG 8.7752).

Sudan airways suspended its flights to AUH in OCT, to JUB in MAY, to ASM by the
end of MAY and resumed ASM in SEP.
Some ADD flights return from JED (transported inadmissible Ethiopian passengers).
Sudan airways suspended ADD flights in the beginning of MAY and resumed it in
DEC.
In JUL and AUG no Transfer passenger.

Increase in total passenger by 11.7%, classified in different groups.
29337 incoming passengers are refugees and asylum seekers
28535 passenger left to LIBYA to adjust their rights
2968 are medical treatment seekers plus 738 patients passed out side.
Some of Chadian passengers return by land transport through Genena after they
did their medical check.

mail are samples of medical tools, soft accessories and documents.

The greatest volume of exported cargo are chilled meat, fresh fish, Some Fruits and
Diplomatic Pouches.
IMPORTED CARGO:
Hatching Eggs, Pharmaceuticals product, Veterinary Medical, Iron Wire, Scratch cards,
Foodstuff, Spare Parts, Computer Accessories, Diplomatic Pouches, CCTV Camera, Child
Toys and telephone spare parts and accessories.
