Currently on view at The Museum at FIT, the exhibitions Expedition: Fashion from the Extreme and Force of Nature examine how fashion has been influenced by discovery and investigation of the world around us. Expedition features high-fashion garments inspired by clothing developed for survival in extreme and hostile environments. Force of Nature shows that for centuries, designers have looked to nature and science for fresh ideas. Force of Nature is open through November 18. Expedition will close January 6, 2018.

Speakers are subject to change without notice.

To register for the symposium, go to our website, fitnyc.edu/museum, or call 212 217.4585.

Please note that seating will be on a first come, first served basis, with RSVP.
