This month we have several events on our agenda. On Thursday, August 6 th , there is an Aſter Hours at Ashford Manor. The New Member Orientaon Lunch will be held in the chamber Board Room on August 13 th . This lunch is not just for new members, but also exisng members who would like to learn more about the chamber and its funcon in the community, its programs and commiees. The August Coffee will be held on Thursday, August 20 th at Saucehouse BBQ, we know everyone has been looking forward to this! Also it is finally here, the Grand Opening & Ribbon Cung for Saucehouse BBQ on August 25 th ! Our Women in Business will be moving to Wednesday, August 26 th , hosted by Athens Orthopedic Clinic, more excing details to follow. We hope that September will bring cooler temperatures, because we will have our 1 st Annual Member Appreciaon Picnic. This will be held at Harris Shoals Park on September 11 th , and all members are invited to aend. The Septem- ber Aſter Hours will be hosted by Athens Regional and held at Jennings Mill Country Club. Our Coffee, September 17 th , will be hosted by Oconee Farm Bureau. This will be the kick-off for the United Way fundraising campaign. And our last event of September will be the Network Lunch, held on September 29 th . October is our busiest month of the year, and we bet you can guess why. The 41 st Annual Fall Fesval and Scarecrow 5k Road Race & Fitness Challenge will be held on Saturday, October 17 th . We are accepng volunteers for both of these events. If you are interested in being part of the largest event in Oconee County, please email [email protected]. But before these events take place, we will have our Aſter Hours, hosted by Southeast Restoraon, on October 5 th . The October Coffee will be on October 15 th and hosted by the Oconee County School System where the Teacher of the Year will be honored. The locaon TBD. As you can see we have lots of events and networking opportunies coming up in the next few months. As the summer is slowly coming to end we look forward to all the events that are coming up for the Chamber. This month we have several events on our agenda. On Thursday, August 6th, there is an After Hours at Ashford Manor. The New Member Orientation Lunch will be held in the chamber Board Room on August 13th.
