Avalon at Buhl ParkOur Buhl Park venue is located in Hermitage,
Pennsylvania, 20 minutes from The Grand
Resort. Avalon at Buhl Park offers a bridal
room for our couples to get ready in or

from The Grand Resort. Avalon is in the midst of a $6 million renovation/expansion

Each Avalon property offers unique amenities and spaces
for your big day. From pools, restaurants, and spas to
enjoy with family and friends before you say “I Do,” to
intimate spaces to hold rehearsal dinners or post-wedding
brunches, everything you need is here! Looking for that
perfect bachelor or bachelorette party? We can easily create
one featuring golf, tennis, a day at the spa, or a private
cabana at the pool. No matter which location you choose,
our Avalon couples have the opportunity to experience
all of the amenities at each of our properties. Plus, we’ll
provide free shuttle service to any Avalon property.

Located at The Grand Resort and Avalon at Buhl
Park, we are proud to offer hair and nail care, body
and facial treatments, as well as specialty services.
Both locations offer monthly promotions and are

big day or celebrate during a bachelorette party.

The Grand Resort is home to 132 recently remodeled hotel rooms, including the Presidential and the Grand Spa Suites. Couples have the opportunity to reserve a block of rooms for their wedding guests and will receive a complimentary bridal suite for the night of their wedding. While working with our Group Rooms Specialists you can coordinate special amenities for you and your guests and to arrange shuttle transportation for your special weekend.
When your guests stay with us, they are members of Avalon Golf and Country Club, giving them access to four challenging golf courses, swimming pools, tennis facilities, fitness centers, and many delicious dining options throughout the properties.

scHeDUling an eventContact the Wedding Consultants for information pertaining to your event. Our priority is to meet the needs of our guests with the highest level of service. All events must be approved by Avalon and coordinated with the Sales & Catering Department.
menU selectionsOur menus are designed to be used as guides, as we welcome the opportunity to customize a special menu for your event. No food or beverage may be brought onto any Avalon property with the exception of a wedding cake and wedding cookies. A $1.00 fee per person applies when outside desserts (cake, cookies, etc.) are part of an event.
banQUet menU pRicingPricing is subject to change based on seasonal market availability. All prices are subject to a Set-up Fee of 22% plus sales tax which will be added to your invoice. These charges are applied to all banquet pricing. A $1.00 per plate upcharge will apply to all sit-down dinners in the event that more than two entrees are chosen.
SET-UP FEEA taxable 22% set-up fee is applied to all banquet event invoices. This fee consists of all services and costs included in the preparation and execution of your event (chairs, standard tables, and white, black, orivory linens, etc.). Colored napkins are subject to a $1.00 per person upcharge.
LABOR FEEAll weddings are based on a five-hour time frame. Each additional hour is subject to a $500 per hourlabor fee. Food and beverage are not included.
GRATUITYGratuity is not included, but greatly appreciated by our staff if you feel they provided exceptional service.
DepositFor wedding receptions, a non-refundable deposit of $2,000 is required at the time of booking and an additionalnon-refundable $2,000 deposit is required six months prior to your wedding reception. All deposits will be applied to the final invoice. Upon cancellation of any event, the deposit will be forfeited and a cancellation fee may apply.
paYmentAcceptable forms of payment are cash, check, or credit card. Avalon reserves the right to charge for any damages incurred during the event. If you wish to use a credit card for deposits and/or payment of events, a 3.5% Administrative Fee will be added to the total amount. Final payments (by certified check) are due no later than 72 hours prior to the event. Any additional charges incurred during the event must be paid upon completion of the event.
minimUm eXpenDitURes
THE GRAND RESORT BALLROOM AND GRAND PAVILIONThe minimum expenditure during the months of May through October on Saturdays in the Grand Ballroom is $15,000 and the Grand Pavilion is $12,000. Should the wedding fall on any other day of the year a $13,000 minimum in the Grand Ballroom and $10,000 minimum in the Grand Pavilion will apply. The minimum expenditure does not include ceremony and/or cocktail venue rentals, the 22% set up fee, applicable taxes, or gratuity. If the total expenditure should fall short of the minimum, the remaining amount will be added as a room rental fee. See your Wedding Consultant for other policies regarding minimums.
AVALON AT BUHL PARKThe minimum expenditure for the Ballroom during the months of May through October on Saturdays is $10,000.
