From the Artistic DirectorThank you for joining us for this webcast of our popular annual concert event,  A Tribute to the Music of A Charlie Brown Christmas. Originally broadcast in 1965, A Charlie Brown Christmas is hands-down one of the most beloved specials in TV history. Commissioned by Peanuts creator Charles M. Schulz, Vince Guaraldi composed and performed the timeless contemporary jazz score which wonderfully reflects both the spirit of the legendary Peanuts charac-ters and the Christmas season.The Glen Pearson Trio will treat you to new interpretations of these beloved songs, as well as jazz versions of several classic holiday tunes. We’ve also got a special

guest jazz hipster, who will give you a jazz rendition of the one poem we’re all likely to know by heart. In addition, don’t miss Soundcheck with Glen Pearson, a video interview that is also available for you to enjoy.
