A level Results Day: Guide to Results
Unreformed Qualifications: each module will have a UMS mark which will come through to you electronically with your results. The total number of UMS marks determines your grade. Weighting of modules is as shown in the subject specific tables in Appendix 2. Overall A level grade boundaries are in the tables below: grade boundaries for AS level are shown in Appendix 1. 4 unit subjects total 400
320 A

For an A* grade you must achieve 90% or higher in the A2 modules only, as well as an A overall. In Mathematics, the A2 modules are designated as Core 3 and Core 4. In Further Mathematics, 3 modules are required averaging 90% or higher, but there are some restrictions. Please ask if this is an issue for you. Reformed/pre‐U/International A level Qualifications: each paper will have a paper mark but these will not be included in your electronic results. The grade boundaries in each subject are shown in Appendix 3. You will need to request your paper marks; if you are discussing with senior staff you need to have obtained your paper marks first. There are 2 options for requesting your paper marks:
(i) Use the web form here https://www.perse.co.uk/publicexams/ You will need to use one form per subject.
(ii) You can come into school where administrative staff will be available in the Old Work Room to give you paper mark information from 0800‐1600 on Thursday 17 August and 0900‐1700 on Friday 18 August only
Please note that where you have already achieved the highest grade available (A* or D1) your paper mark information cannot be relevant to an enquiry on results. You may request your paper marks after 1 September by e‐mail to [email protected].

There is no A* grade at AS level except in EPQ. 2. AS Certification/Aggregation
Certification is aggregating (cashing in) the individual units to form a single AS or A level grade
L6: School policy is to certificate all unreformed AS levels unless students specifically request otherwise. If you have requested the withdrawal of the aggregation entry, remember that if you want it reinstated you need to request this also not later than 15 September. Certificated/aggregated grades must go onto UCAS forms: remember to discuss your individual circumstances in good time before the deadline U6: All A levels are certificated so that you have an overall grade.
