A message from Fr. Dan Are you trustworthy? Most of us would easily answer: “Yes, Of Course.” Trust-worthiness begins as a child and matures over time. It has much to do with integrity and faith and of course TRUST. Trust is the basis of all relationships be they with our family, friends, ourselves and our God. One thing for sure is that OUR GOD is Trustworthy and is always there for us. We are called to be trustworthy with our many blessings and live this life in generosity with one another. The Gospel challenges us to take a step in our own trustworthiness with our blessings. MINISTRY TRAINING SCHEDULED We will have training for several of our important Liturgical Ministries in the first full week of October. Eucharis-tic Minister training will be Tuesday, October 8 at 6:30 p.m. in the Church (includes the homebound ministry too). Readers will have a training session on Wednesday, October 9 at 6:30 p.m. in the Church. Ushers will have train-ing on Thursday, October 10 at 6:30 p.m. in the Church. Also, this includes NEW members who would like to serve as a Eucharistic Minister, Reader or Usher. ANNUAL CATHOLIC SERVICES APPEAL The Tithe is the first 10% of our income based upon Abraham’s Tithe from the first book of the Bible. (Genesis 14:20) Catholic 10% Tithing is divided 5% to parish, 4% personal charities and 1% Diocese. It is based upon our gratitude and firm belief that all we have, are or ever will be is a gift from God and out of gratitude we return the first 10% back to God from whom all good things come. As pastor I lead by example. Thus, I (Fr. Dan) will tithe 10% which is $300 to our ACSA Diocesan Appeal and kindly ask each parish family to prayerfully consider doing the same or at least taking a step in that direction. Together we are strong and accomplish so much with each other and our God. Let’s do it! PASTOR’S EMAIL ADDRESS My email address is: [email protected] This is the very best way to get in touch with me.

May God Bless and lead St. Agnes Parish!
