Volume 9, Issue 3, March 2017 A Message from our Vice-President ~~~~~~~~ I suggest that we start doing some day dreaming about the fact that Spring is coming some day. Ha! Ha! Hopefully, you haven't started to grow “Moss” on your feet from all the wet winter we’ve had this year. I know that we have needed the rain but give us a break. I think we have reached a point where a little less rain would be ok. It’s been scary lately with the problems at the Oroville dam spillway. I hope everything turns out okay for them. I’ve had a few friends tell me that their daffodils are starting to come up all over. I don’t have them in my yard, but I have enjoyed seeing them here and there. My back yard has been a sloshy mess. Can’t get out there yet. Just a reminder that our Tour Committee is working on a trip to Dutch Hollow Farms in Modesto to see an incredible display of tulips. We are going to car pool there on Thursday, March 9th. We will have more information at our Club meeting on Monday, March 6 th or contact me at 684-1285. Finally, if you need something to fill your schedule, don’t miss the Calendar beginning on page 5. There is no chance to get bored in the spring! Hope to see you at the March meeting. Try to stay dry the best that you can until then.
