A Microsoft Word document with embedded video

To insert a video into a Word file, go to Insert, then choose Object in the Text group, then choose Package, then browse to the file you want. You can give it a name and a caption, and here is how it looks when it’s done. It doesn’t appear that you can format the text in the box – you can write what you want, but you can’t change the font, size, or position.

The MP4 file is 9.7 MB. The Word file with the video embedded is 9.7 MB.

When the reader double-clicks on the icon, the video begins to play in a separate window.
