• A separate library will be built for use with Zara Radio (Outside Broadcasts Only)
Low Quality MP3 files will no longer be accepted for inclusion in the library
We are aiming for a NEW Minimum standard for MP3 files 320kbps (WAV preferred)
YES your audience will notice the poor sound quality from smaller size MP3 files
The station will supply facilities for you to rip CDs to your folder as WAV files and will also supply a Setup & F.A.Q guide for doing it at home.
NO music should be stored in your folder that does not meet the new requirements, any files that don’t will be placed in a holding folder and you will be notified.
This is to ensure that your personal library is the same standard (or close to as possible) as the new one currently being built, and ensures that the sound quality is standard.
We are more than willing to assist in helping you build your own library.
We currently have 2355 titles ripped and waiting to be added to simian.
