Prokofieff MARCH from LOVE FOR THREE ORANGES

Falla RITUAL FIRE DANCE Artur Rubinstein’s first American recording with orchestra, in 1942, was this

same Grieg Piano Concerto, the Norwegian composer’s only work for piano and

orchestra. With each advance in recording technology, this great artist—someone

described him eloquently as “the last civilized man” —created a new version, each one different than the one before,

each recording definitive and authoritative. And now, endowing the recording technology of the

, 1960s with the lasting stamp of his artistry, we | present this new recording of the Grieg Concerto.
