2017 has brought a few changes to TCHP!

Shannon Watson has moved on to new endeavors. Her service and dedication to TCHP and the community is truly appreciated. Good luck to you, Shannon!

The board of directors would like you to help us welcome Kim Lamansky. Kim brings a strong background of marketing and fundraising experience and is excited to meet all of our sponsors, donors and volunteers. When not at TCHP, Kim loves to spend time on stage at a community theater, time with family, and of course, cheering on the Packers! Please feel free to stop in to the clinic and welcome her!

A NEW YEAR

The mission of Tri City Health Partnership is to provide quality healthcare, in an environment

of mutual respect, to those members of the community without the ability to pay for services.

We promote better life choices through education and preventive care to foster the growth of

the whole individual.

Hello from the Executive Director

Welcome Home! Have you noticed in previous newsletters, emails, websites and more, a picture

of our building is usually shown? When is the last time you came to see us? Have you witnessed

first-hand the warmth of the lobby and the friendly greeting you will get from our staff?

While my background as a professional ranges from sales, events and marketing to the President of a chamber, I had a

gap of 5 years without health insurance. Companies I worked for were too small to offer it and the ACA was just not an

affordable option, so I utilized a free clinic in the Joliet area. While the staff was professional and helpful, I couldn’t

shake the feeling of embarrassment. The facility was very cold, impersonal…clinical.

But our building is more than a free clinic… it’s a home. And just as you welcome your family and friends into yours, we

are proud to do the same for our patients. Walking into TCHP, a feeling of warmth and caring is palpable. Our staff and

volunteers recognize that patients all need a different level of assistance at times in their lives, and treat all who enter

with dignity and respect.

I encourage you to stop in and say hello. See for yourself how your donations and volunteerism are having a huge

impact on our patients.

In 2016, 429 low-income patients took

advantage of free care with over 1,800

visits. That could not have happened

without help from individuals and

businesses like you.

Did you know that for every $1 raised, we can offer

$20 in service to our patients? Your giving helps

numerous residents of Central Kane County in a way that

is real and impactful.

For example, take the woman who struggled to find a job

because she needed some major dental work done. She

had no self confidence, no joy. But because of donations

like yours, she was able to have a full set of dentures at

NO COST. The future is as bright as her smile!

How about the man who has struggled to keep his

diabetes under control? His numbers were dangerously

high, but because of people like you, he has access to

FREE testing strips, monitoring, education and

medication.
