Message: Growing Up Spiritually Strong
Series: RESET
Scripture: I Peter: 1:22-2:3 (NLT)
22 You were cleansed from your sins when you obeyed the
truth, so now you must show sincere love to each other as brothers and sisters. Love each other deeply with all your heart. 23
For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God.
24 As the
Scriptures say,
“People are like grass; their beauty is like a flower in the field. The grass withers and the flower fades. 25
But the word of the Lord remains forever.”
And that word is the Good News that was preached to you.
2 So get rid of all evil behavior. Be done with all deceit, hypocrisy, jealousy, and all unkind speech.
2 Like newborn
babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment,
3 now that you have had a taste of the Lord’s
kindness.
The church office will be closed on Wednesday,
July 1st - July 3rd for the July Fourth Holiday!

Upcoming Opportunities For Spiritual Growth
Pastor J.F. is offering the following studies:
1) Grief Share: A 13 week seminar on recovery from loss and grief.
2) I Believe: A 12 week Bible study designed to dig deeper into the core teachings of the
Christian faith. This study would be helpful for new believers, committed Christ followers
who want to know more about their faith; and people wanting to grow stronger in their
faith.
Both of these classes are planned to be launched via Zoom (a computer platform that allows
you to call in and interact by video and audio from your home). This format will allow people to
participate in these studies from the safety of home to maintain proper health and social
distancing practices. If you are interested in either of these studies (which plan to launch in the
next few weeks), call the church office to register at (336) 629-1425
