Alfred Hitchcock’s The Lodger (1927) Thursday, July 13, 2017 at 7 pmThe suspenseful silent thriller stars the popular post-war British heartthrob Ivor Novello. The director himself called it “the first true Hitchcock film.” It bears many of the stylistic hallmarks of his later Hollywood masterpieces. Experience it with live, improvised piano accompaniment by Cary Brown.
