Wow, another pitch-

ing season will be approaching us before you know it. I

hope all had a safe and joyous holiday season.

In the next few editions, of the newsletter, you will notice a

small section of some “unwritten” rules of court etiquette.

There still is some indoor pitching going on at Tri-County

HC, in Groton, Eric Conrad serves as tournament director.

The first Saturday of the month is a sanction singles (these

do fill up fast) also the 3rd Saturday of the month is a non-

sanction walking doubles sign-up is 11:00.

Chuck Reigles is always coming up with a twist when pitch-

ing horseshoes. When does this happen? Every 2nd Satur-

day of the month. It is a quarter tournament right there at

the Tri-County HC. Whatever, twist Chuck comes up with

all that show up have a pretty good time.

Back in November, the 2014 World Tournament pins had

become available. These pins are $5.00 each you may con-

tact President Frank K, on how to purchase one or the de-

tails are on our New York website.

For me, as President, 2015 started off with a bit of disappointment. The response to

club. My first thoughts to this were that no one cared, they don’t want to be involved

and maybe everyone was just too busy. Then as I started to think more about it I be-

gan to feel a little better and thought how good it was that, besides the one club, eve-

ryone must truly trust the executive committee to make all the decisions for them re-

garding our charters business concerns without having any input from them. Let me

know?

The November/December issue of the Newsline was the last to be printed. Now anyone will be able to view the Newsline on www.horseshoepitching.com or through your email address.

Sara Otto, of Minnesota, will become eNewsline Editor. The increasing cost of publishing and mailing the printed New-

sline, and deceasing subscriptions, has predicated this change to an enewsletter. The NHPA will see a huge cost savings,

yet will allow them to gain visibility, as well as bring news of the association to the entire membership at no cost to the

member.
