What is mead?• Simple answer: honey wine• But a world of creative variation:– Varietal honeys or blends– Sweet to dry– Still to sparkling– Light alcohol to moderate strength– Can also incorporate other ingredients:
herbs and spices, fruit, oak aging, etc
